the thoughts of an open-minded girl

thoughts are important, and should be written down. that's why i want to share mine with the world. they could, maybe, become important someday. maybe, just maybe, like me. but for now i'm content (well i try to be) on dreaming and thinking of what's in store for me.

writer’s urge

we all hear of writer’s block.. i’m promoting writer’s urge. i get the urge to write at random times, no matter the time of day/night. i get in while im falling asleep, daydreaming in class, on my afternooon runs. it’s the best feeling in the world. i decided i’d share some of that feeling.. here’s my latest bit of writing. the prologue to a book (that might get writting, but probably not)

—> Eave was a young girl; young, but with bright ideas. She was not like her peers, her classmates, or even her friends. She was exotic since the day she first opened her eyes. As an infant, Eave was quiet and sleepy. As a toddler, she was hot-headed and devilish. As a preschooler, she was intelligent and happy. As she entered elementary school, Eave fell in love with writing, reading and the arts. Once in middle school, those loves were brought to newer heights and she found a love for fashion. By eighth grade, she dreamed of being a journalist for a fashion magazine. Now, in tenth grade, Eave still holds that dream, as well as a dream to write for the New York Times. Let’s go back to the beginning…
